Bermuda Marathon & Half Marathon 2027Island race-week travel, planned properly
A January race on an island, with the full and half on the same day. We plan the trip so the run-cation part doesn’t get in the way of the race part.
About Bermuda Marathon & Half 2027
The Bermuda Marathon and the PwC Bermuda Half Marathon take place on Sunday 17 January 2027, and registration was open at our last check. Both distances share the same day and the same island, so this one page covers both.
The races sit inside the wider Bermuda Triangle Challenge race weekend, which in recent years has added shorter races on the days before. Some runners combine them; most come for one distance and a few days on the island. That mix of racing and getaway is exactly why the trip needs planning: an island destination has fewer daily flights and more limited on-island transport than a mainland city, on a weekend when many runners arrive at once.
Visterra Runs plans Bermuda as a race trip first: arrival and departure flights that make sense, a stay that suits race-morning logistics and companion plans, and bilingual WhatsApp support from arrival to the finish.

Race week in Bermuda: what to plan for
Book flights early
Island destinations usually have fewer daily flights. Our recommendation is to lock in arrival and departure early, especially if you want to add the shorter weekend races.
Visterra recommendationConfirm start locations
In recent editions the full and the half did not start from the same place. Once the 2027 race information is published, we plan your race-morning transfer around your distance.
Visterra recommendationTravelling as a group or couple
Bermuda works well as a shared trip. We can coordinate companion plans and post-race days so the runner isn’t managing logistics.
